Job summary

Interpath Laboratory in Pendleton, OR seeks an energetic Specimen Processor with a strong eye for detail to join our clinical team. You will handle sample processing, ensure turnaround times, and enter data accurately while maintaining specimen integrity.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday, 9AM–5:30PM schedule, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with employer match, PTO, and in-house testing opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow safety and quality control standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sample Processing: receive and process samples, ensure turnaround times, maintain specimen integrity, and perform data entry.
• Communication and Reporting: respond to inquiries and manage instrument alarms; print and distribute reports.
• Operational Duties: follow daily checklists; cover shifts and locations as needed; perform additional duties as assigned.
• Safety and Compliance: adhere to safety protocols; ensure HIPAA compliance and follow Medicare ABN rules.
