Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc. is seeking a friendly Phlebotomist/Processor to support patients and the team. This PRN role covers shifts Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, across multiple sites in Oregon.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, sample handling, data entry, and ensuring specimen integrity while adhering to safety and privacy rules. Excellent customer service and reliability are essential. Benefits include a 401(k) with employer match and in-house diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work at multiple sites and cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, and monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Perform venipuncture and prepare samples for lab testing and screening.
• Verify specimen information, enter data, and correctly identify patients.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining integrity.
• Follow safety protocols, HIPAA, Medicare rules and participate in QA.
• Cover shifts at different sites to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain reliable attendance to support the team and patients.
