Job summary

Alline Laboratory seeks a Specimen Processor - Accessioning to handle cytology, histology, molecular, clinical, and microbiology specimens. Strong data entry and medical terminology knowledge are preferred as you support laboratory staff in receiving, labeling, and triaging specimens.

Typical hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM (Day Shift). This role emphasizes accuracy in specimen handling, cleaning, and adherence to safety procedures within a busy lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• 2 years’ experience as a lab assistant, specimen processor, or relevant lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process specimens in accordance with testing requirements.
• Identify and label specimens accurately and distribute to the correct testing area.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed.
• Organize and monitor laboratory supplies to maintain inventory levels.
