• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups (as needed).

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team in Jonesboro, AR (72401)

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (additional hours may be requested as needed)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals

• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more lab specimen processing / accessioning experience
• 6 months or more phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
• Current or prior LabCorp experience

This role will work in our client's office setting to perform clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, production output environment according to established standard operating procedures, and be the face of the company.
