Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team in Jonesboro, AR. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with possible additional hours.

Responsibilities include preparing specimens, labeling, packing/shipping, data entry, and venipuncture as needed. Requires high school diploma; preferred LabCorp experience and relevant lab/phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more lab specimen processing / accessioning experience
• 6 months or more phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
• Current or prior LabCorp experience

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups (as needed)

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team in Jonesboro, AR (72401). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (additional hours may be requested as needed).

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more lab specimen processing / accessioning experience
• 6 months or more phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
• Current or prior LabCorp experience

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
