Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our Brick, NJ lab team. The role processes clinical specimens, ensures proper labeling, routing, and data entry of patient information in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a 6:00pm–2:30am shift, Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed, and requires a High School diploma or GED. Preference for 1 year of lab or related experience and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• 1 year or more of lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with data entry and MS Office is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience (lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment)
• 1 year or more of medical or production experience

• Able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Pay Range:

• $17.75 - $20.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
