Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Confirmation Clerk / Specimen Accessioner in Saint Paul, MN on 1st shift (Tue–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm; Sat, 9:00 am–5:30 pm). You will receive specimens, accession, and aliquot specimens to maintain efficiency and meet turn-around times in a fast-paced clinical lab environment.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work independently in a production setting. Training provided and opportunities for growth within the Labcorp network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in health care or production environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast paced production environment to meet established turnaround times.
• Must be able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to distinguish colors including shades of colors.
• Able to work independently under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens for testing; accession and organize workflow.
• Process client samples and quality control materials per SOP.
• Maintain equipment and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Complete documents and monitor chain of custody.
• Operate as a Specimen Processor across all functions.
