Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ months of experience in a lab/specimen processing preferred.
• Experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., physician office, clinic, hospital) preferred.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Enter patient information data accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
