Job summary

Clariti Diagnostics Laboratories seeks a dependable Specimen Processing Technician to join our clinical laboratory team. You will receive, accession, and process patient specimens, verify information, and prepare samples for referral testing.

In this role, you’ll maintain LIS data, track specimens, assist with inventory, and ensure compliance with CLIA, COLA, HIPAA, and quality standards. Day shifts; no weekends; competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a laboratory, specimen processing, accessioning, phlebotomy, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with LIS or EMR is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.
• Day shift, and no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive, accession, and process patient specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient information, test orders, and specimen integrity.
• Prepare, aliquot, and package specimens for referral laboratory testing.
• Coordinate daily send-outs while ensuring compliance with shipping and handling requirements.
• Enter and verify patient and test information within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Identify and resolve specimen discrepancies by communicating with client facilities when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and specimen tracking throughout the testing process.
• Assist with inventory management, supply stocking, and general laboratory operations.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, COLA, HIPAA, and laboratory quality standards.

• Receive, accession, and process patient specimens for laboratory testing
