Sauk Prairie Healthcare, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our clinical laboratory team.

The role performs venipuncture, specimen collection, and processing for testing across patient ages, while handling clerical tasks and ensuring proper documentation. This position requires a high school diploma with preferred phlebotomy certification and experience; on-site schedule Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm with holiday and weekend rotation; comprehensive benefits per our hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of phlebotomy and medical terminology experience.
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to obtain specimens.
• Collect and prepare specimens for testing and transport to reference labs.
• Perform CLIA‑waived and moderately complex testing.
• Maintain supplies and chain of custody for urine drug screens.
• Document specimen collection information accurately.
• Assist leadership and coordinate specimen collection procedures.
