The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy training. Strong computer, telephone and interpersonal skills are essential for daily duties in a team environment with 40 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy training with laboratory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to use computers and basic clerical tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and telephone skills, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and verify orders for processing.
• Enter orders, prepare blood components and perform waived testing.
• Handle pre-analytic processing and related clerical tasks (phones, faxes).
• Maintain accuracy, stay organized and support the laboratory team.
