Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Lab Associate I, Specimen Processing to perform accessioning, processing, and lab support in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accurate data reporting, maintain GDP standards, and assist with automation and safety protocols.

The role requires flexibility to work Sat–Mon shifts and occasional overtime. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and familiarity with computer use; preferred are degrees in life or physical sciences and experience in a lab

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor in Life/Physical Sciences preferred.
• Experience in lab or similar setting desired.
• Knowledge of GDP, CAP, CLIA, HIPAA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Specimen Processing duties accurately and timely.
• Maintain GDP-compliant data reporting and documentation.
• Support quality initiatives, SOPs, and department inspections.
• Handle specimens following safety and regulatory guidelines.
