Position Overview

Join our core laboratory team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Specimen Preparation Technician. Responsibilities

• Receive and document biological specimens.
• Enter specimen information into the computer system accurately.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing.

Scope and Complexity

Departmental responsibility only, primarily serving internal customers. Occasional interaction with external vendors, couriers, and healthcare professionals.

Physical Demands and Environmental Factors

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must use standard precautions to protect against blood and body fluid exposure.
• Communicate effectively via reading, writing, speaking in person or by telephone.
• May require periodic computer use.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
