Job summary

Labcorp seeks a dedicated Specimen Management teammate in St. Paul, MN. The role supports the lab, clients, and patients with accurate data handling and timely specimen processing.

You will triage specimens, resolve inquiries, and ensure secure labeling and shipping. A high school diploma is required; prior Labcorp experience or an associates degree is preferred. Competitive benefits accompany a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.
• Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, chat, and email.
• Communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Work in multiple databases to research issues and questions.
• Provide customer education and information as needed.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Management team in St. Paul, MN.

Work Schedule:

Tuesday- Saturday 8:00am- 4:30pm

• Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour plus shift differential

All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• Associates degree
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience

Additional Job Standards

• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
