Job summary

Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure in Pearl, MS is seeking a Specifications Engineer to own product definitions, BOMs, and performance requirements for wire and cable products; translate designs and customer specs into manufacturable specifications and ensure compliance.

You will create and maintain BOMs, define manufacturing instructions, and support cross-functional teams including Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Design Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience; wire and cable industry preferred.
• Experience creating and maintaining engineering specifications, BOMs, and testing requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and customer specifications into complete, manufacturable product specifications.
• Create, verify, release, and maintain engineering BOMs with material specs and revisions.
• Develop manufacturing instructions, critical dimensions, tolerances, and tests.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, Design Engineering, and Product Management.
• Act as NPI lead for all new products at the Pearl facility.
