  • Validate Carpenter's capacity to produce material meeting all stipulations
  • Refer specification requirements beyond Carpenter's capability to subject matter experts (metallurgy, quality, legal, etc.) for resolution
  • Draft and issue exception letters to Customer Solutions to document which specification requirements Carpenter proposes alternative requirements or rejects
  • Input or abstract specification requirements into Carpenter’s electronic database
  • Identify and resolve errors during abstract re-review
  • Participates in communication and coordination of proposed changes to specification requirements across various departments
  • Ensures industry specifications and standards are maintained to the latest revision

  • Engages with external customers, suppliers and third-party audits related to certifications and associated quality systems
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training: A Two Year or Four-Year technical college degree preferred. High school diploma required.
