Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. seeks a welder specialized in pipe and structural components for industrial construction projects. You will plan, lay‑out, weld, install, and repair specialty metal parts in accordance with plans, specs, and welding codes.

You must perform welding in multiple positions, ensure quality, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while adhering to strict safety standards. Certifications in NCCER and related weld procedures are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least four years of pipe and structural welding experience in industrial construction.
• Must pass welding tests on multiple procedures and welding codes that are to be performed on the project.
• Knowledge of ANSI, AWS and ASME codes and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay‑out, weld, install, and repair specialty pipe and structural components per plans and specs.
• Weld components in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead) and ensure quality.
• Coordinate with other crafts and provide on‑the‑job mentoring as needed.
