BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a passionate and motivated Specialty Veterinary Technician Manager to lead and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 / hour

This pay range is a starting point and depends on experience and progression through our leveling system.

We offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends, with a minimum of 4 hours for differentials:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50

As a Specialty Veterinary Technician Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrating advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate and maintaining related skills
• Collaborating with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood and met
• Serving as a resource and mentor for staff regarding operations, patient care, and skill development
• Modeling positive work habits, clinical skills, and business knowledge
• Identifying and resolving workplace conflicts
• Coaching staff to foster a culture of high performance and productivity
• Communicating effectively about protocols, policies, and changes
• Building positive relationships across the hospital to promote teamwork
• Implementing process improvements
• Working with the Technician Training Manager on ongoing training schedules
• Documenting performance issues, conducting annual reviews, and advising hospital leadership
• Performing other duties as assigned
