Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Specialty Operator in Louisiana to manage the production of specialty sugars, including blending, evaporation, crystallization, drying, and screening. You will operate and maintain equipment, ensure sanitation, and meet quality specs.

The role requires flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed, with experience in an industrial setting and familiarity with packaging equipment preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to perform math calculations and lift 50 lb.
• Willing to work shifts including weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• The production of specialty sugars including blending, evaporation, crystallization, drying, conditioning, milling, and screening.
• Maintain equipment and monitor sanitation to meet product specs.
• Coordinate with others to meet safety, quality, production, and energy targets.
