Job summary

ASR Group in Chalmette, LA is seeking a Boiling/Spinning Process Technician to ensure sugar is boiled to specifications of size, quality and uniformity. You will operate vacuum pans, monitor syrups, control temperatures and valves, and maintain records in a safety‑driven refinery environment.

Candidates need at least 1 year in an industrial setting, HS diploma (Associate preferred), and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year of experience in an industrial setting.
• Prefer experience in process operations/refinery operations.

Responsibilities

• Boils granulated or brilliant sugar or sweetwater in vacuum pans.
• Feeds proper liquors into sugar mass and syrups.
• Monitors and adjusts control instruments and temperatures.
• Maintains written records and sample testing.
• Ensures safety practices and sanitation standards.
