Job summary

Health First is seeking a Specialty Sonographer to perform cardiology, breast, OB/GYN, or vascular scans in a patient-centered environment. You will ensure quality care and compliance with safety standards while supporting patient services.

The ideal candidate is ARRT/ARDMS/CCI registered, with radiology or sonography training, capable of accurate documentation, and flexible to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical documentation and patient history
• Ability to communicate with patient/family/physicians at various levels of understanding
• Experience with imaging procedures and adhering to image quality standards

Responsibilities

• Verifies two forms of patient ID for every procedure
• Completes all written and electronic documentation
• Reviews exam orders prior to performing an exam
• Performs procedures per protocols and maintains image quality
• Properly positions patients for examinations
• Administers medications within scope of practice
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and reports malfunctions
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked and disinfected
