Target in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking an energetic Specialty Sales Team Leader to drive guest experience and store performance. You’ll lead a team, coach employees, and manage daily tasks from merchandising to guest engagement.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are required, along with flexibility for nights and weekends. You’ll coordinate with store leadership to optimize customer flow, promotions, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or guest-focused roles is preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop team members and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Target's guest experience commitments and standards.
• Train and guide team members to uphold service and operations.
• Review area metrics and take action to improve performance.
• Lead daily/weekly workloads and merchandising plans to meet sales goals.
• Hire, onboard, and develop team members to strengthen capability.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and store security practices.
• Support backroom organization and merchandise replenishment.
