Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States is seeking a Sales Operations Planner to support territory planning, quota setting, and capacity modeling. This hybrid role requires collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and support to enable end‑to‑end lifecycle management from quotes to orders.

You will drive planning cycles, optimize processes, ensure data integrity in CRM and forecasting, and provide actionable insights via reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Typically, 4+ years of sales planning and delivery experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with Anaplan required.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Oracle CPQ preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) preferred.
  • Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and set priorities with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, highly organized and thorough.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
  • High energy level and passion in getting the job done right.
  • Excellent business liaison skills. Ability to digest system complexity and articulate to business users in concise and simple language.

  • Serve as a trusted adviser to sales teams and channel on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support the sales effort.
  • Manage and administer the CRM application, Salesforce.com, and become an authority in the application while providing general administrative support for the tool.
  • Redesign and improve existing sales and operational processes as the organization evolves.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across CRM, forecasting, and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align plans and assumptions.
  • Provide ad‑hoc analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives.
  • Build, run, and analyze reports and dashboards for users and managers, and provide insight into the business.
  • Drive the end‑to‑end life cycle of a quote to an order.
  • Triage new requests and set appropriate delivery expectations with business partners.
  • Partner with sales team and channel to help scope, configure and price quotes.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and order management to streamline the booking process.
  • Respond to ad‑hoc requests flowing into the sales operations group from various teams regarding reports, processes, requests for assistance, and general support.

Job Overview

This role is hybrid, with an expectation of working on average two days per week from an HPE office. The Sales Operations Planner works cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, operations, logistics, finance and support to support sales through the end‑to‑end customer lifecycle and yearly planning activities for specialty sales teams.

  • Massachusetts: USD 81,400 – 154,600 annually
  • California: USD 81,400 – 164,400 annually
  • Georgia, New Jersey & Texas: USD 71,500 – 164,400 annually
