Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join the team at Mercy Physicians Plaza in Rogers, AR. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p, providing professional nursing care under physician supervision and assisting with treatments and clinical documentation.

The position requires RN or LPN licensure in-state or compact, and 6 months of healthcare experience is preferred. BLS certification is required, with possible consideration for ACLS/NRP/other certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN or LPN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift, position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice under physician direction.
• Assist the physician in the treatment of patients and complete related clinical paperwork.

Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses), OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization), S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules, C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification), Other unit-specific certifications as required.
