Job summary

Covenant HealthCare seeks a Specialty Practice Manager I to lead large outpatient practice operations, including scheduling, referrals, and billing, while ensuring high‑quality patient care and efficient workflows. You will coordinate with CMG and hospital teams, drive policy updates, and mentor staff to uphold Covenant’s standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and process improvement within a clinical setting, with daily onsite responsibilities at the practice site(s).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in nursing/healthcare administration/business/management or 10 years of practice with leadership experience.
• Three years of physician practice experience and three years of supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Computer-based office practice management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient scheduling, referrals/authorizations, and outpatient testing to ensure efficient operations.
• Lead staffing, payroll reporting, training, evaluations and HR collaboration.
• Develop and monitor department budget and cost control measures.
• Maintain high-quality patient service and compliance with policies.
