Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Pain Management GMG team. This part-time, day shift position supports diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care under physician supervision in both ambulatory and hospital settings.

The ideal candidate has ARC-approved PA training, current DEA registration, and may have acute care or trauma experience. A BLS certification is required within six months of hire, with opportunities to collaborate across specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-approved Physician Assistant Program.
• Current DEA registration.
• Acute Care, Surgical, Critical Care, or Trauma experience preferred.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in ambulatory and acute care settings.
• Perform histories, exams, orders, and treatments as delegated.
• Prescribe and monitor medications as permitted by policy.
• Discharge planning and coordination with multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure documentation and quality monitoring of patient care.
