Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a part-time role in Gastroenterology. Qualifications

• Graduate of an A.R.C.-approved Physician Assistant Program.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and/or applicable state license.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS certification to be obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret routine labs, radiology and other tests.
• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care under physician supervision.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per prescriptive authority.
• Assist with inpatient and outpatient care, including discharge planning.
