Job summary

CVS Health in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join the CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. The role focuses on specialty products across MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Transplant, leveraging new information and technologies to transform health care and pharmacy.

The team assists customers with specialty product inquiries, performs inventory tasks, restocks shelves, communicates promotions, and collaborates with pharmacists to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
• 6+ months experience in customer service within healthcare or related field.
• CPhT or ExCPT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to specialty product inquiries with technical advice for specialty needs.
• Maintain specialty retail store operations including inventory management and restocking shelves.
• Communicate promotions and product updates to customers.
• Log customer complaints or concerns for senior management review.
• Monitor sales metrics including revenue, units sold, and conversion rates.
• Process transactions and manage POS operations.
• Collaborate with specialty retail staff to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workloads for timely completion.
• Provide basic repairs or step-by-step guidance for product issues.
