Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina Hollings Cancer Center Outpatient Pharmacy and MUSC Mail Order Pharmacy are hiring Pharmacy Technicians. You will support data entry, prescription claims processing, medication fulfillment, fulfillment via shipping, and inventory management to ensure continuous patient care.

Open positions are on-site at two Charleston locations; compensation includes 40 hours weekly, and you must hold SCBOP registration and PTCB or ExCPT certification.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the SC Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) required and must be maintained.
• Must obtain and maintain PTCB or ExCPT certification within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Data entry, prescription claims processing, and medication fulfillment.
• Inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock maintenance.
• Shipping exceptions management and proactive patient notification.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pharmacy technology to ensure workflow efficiency.
