Pharmacy Technician – Specialty (Hospital Setting)

What You’ll Do

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work in a hospital-based pharmacy setting, blending the pace of retail with the purpose of specialty care. Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Providing exceptional service at the pick-up counter
• Answering patient calls and assisting with medication-related questions
• Supporting pharmacy operations using systems like Epic and Willow Ambulatory

• Guaranteed 40 hours/week
• Rotating shifts between:
  • Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
  • Evenings: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM EST
• Occasional Saturday shifts
• $7.50/hour shift differential for hours worked after 5:30 PM EST
• Hourly Pay Range: $21.37 – $24.88 (based on experience, skills, and location)

Solid computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms. Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through an assessment as part of the pre‑employment process.

What You’ll Need

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• National Certification (PTCB or NHA) – contingency start may be considered for the right candidate
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience (5+ years preferred)
• High school diploma or GED

This is a fully onsite role in Worcester, MA. Candidates must be comfortable commuting daily.
