Job Details

• Enter Prescription Information
• Contact prescribers to clarify orders
• Determine accurate medication quantities
• Select proper medication strength and vial size to reduce waste
• Select and dispense accurate medications
• Correctly label medications
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous oral, topical, and parenteral medications
• Prepare medications for delivery
• Organize and maintain medication and supply inventories
• Perform inventory control duties, including ordering, receiving, stocking, exchanging, and returning medications and supplies
• Ensure medications are appropriately stored
• Resolve insurance issues
• Assist with Prior Authorizations
• Aid patients with financial assistance programs
• Responsible for appropriate EMR documentation and communication with staff
• Follow Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
