Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Specialty Pharmacy team. This PRN position supports pharmacists in providing safe, accurate medication services to patients and physicians in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and no experience is required though preferred. Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECH-R) or Pharmacy Intern (RPI) upon hire are required or expected.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
• No experience required; Preferred qualifications may be listed.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician assists the pharmacist in providing service to patients and physicians in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as company philosophy, policies and service standards. The pharmacy technician is supervised by the Pharmacist on duty.
