Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support specialty medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will process orders, verify benefits, and assist patients with reimbursements in a regional healthcare system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
• 1–2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Student enrolled in a college of Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Specialty Medication Pharmacist or designee with processing new and refill specialty orders.
• Verify and re-verify pharmacy benefits and assist patients with reimbursement issues.
• Maintain follow-up with the specialty pharmacy and inform providers about prescription processing.
