Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy specialty production pharmacy team in Oakland Gardens, NY. This onsite role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends for a steady weekday routine.

You will fill, label, package and prepare prescription medications, assist pharmacists, manage inventory, verify accuracy, and maintain a clean workspace. Entry-level candidates with healthcare or customer service experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 0–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred; entry-level candidates with healthcare or customer service experience encouraged.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB, CPhT, or similar) preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one, as applicable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill, label, package, and prepare prescription medications.
• Assist pharmacists with processing and fulfilling prescriptions.
• Prepare blister packs and unit-dose medications.
• Organize, stock, and maintain medication inventory.
• Verify prescription accuracy and patient information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Assist with inventory counts and quality checks.
• Communicate with team members and occasionally assist with patient calls.
