Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Austin, TX is hiring a Production Technician- Pharmacy Technician- Production to join our long-term care team. This onsite role handles dispensing, labeling, packaging, and quality checks for prescriptions, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will pull stock, prepare unit-dose packaging, label orders, and organize completed prescriptions while adhering to Texas regulations and company standards. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:00pm CST.

Qualificações

• Must possess an active TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on directions for use, using hands or packaging machines.
• Pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Actively label and dispense prescription orders and prepare unit dose packaging where applicable.
