Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a busy specialty production pharmacy in Oakland Gardens, NY. The role supports pharmacists, prepares prescriptions, and maintains inventory in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has high attention to detail, is able to multitask, and works well in a team. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with a pay rate of $21–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred; entry-level candidates with at least 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience are encouraged to apply.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB, CPhT, or similar) preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one, as applicable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill, label, package, and prepare prescription medications.
• Assist pharmacists with processing and fulfilling prescriptions.
• Prepare blister packs and unit-dose medications.
• Organize, stock, and maintain medication inventory.
• Verify prescription accuracy and patient information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Assist with inventory counts and quality checks.
• Communicate with team members and occasionally assist with patient calls.
