Job summary

MultiCare Health System’s Tacoma General Hospital seeks a Supervisor - Specialty Pharmacy to oversee daily operations of the health system's specialty pharmacy, under the direction of the Manager -Specialty Pharmacies & Medication Assistance Program. This role emphasizes workflow optimization, accreditation maintenance, and program development.

The ideal candidate has ASHP residency, WA Pharmacist license in good standing, 3+ years in clinical or specialty pharmacy, and supervisory experience;

Qualifications

• Accredited ASHP residency preferred.
• Washington State Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Specialty, Oncology, Neurology, or Rheumatology credentials preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical or specialty pharmacy experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of retail pharmacy practice preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead capacity experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining efficient specialty pharmacy workflows.
• Developing strong relationships with clinic staff.
• Collaborating with manufacturers and payers to expand specialty pharmacy networks.
• Maintaining accreditation standards.
• Developing clinical programs and operations that support all aspects of specialty pharmacy.
