Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Operations to guide specialty medication management, infusion services, and medication access across our expansive enterprise. You will lead teams, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and optimize workflows to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a healthcare or operations-related field.
• Registration as pharmacy technician within the state of primary work location; and nationally recognized certification (CPhT or ExCPT).
• Minimum 3–5 years progressive leadership experience in pharmacy operations, with focus on specialty pharmacy, infusion services, or related lines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee specialized pharmacy services including specialty medication management, infusion services, medication access, and other complex operations.
• Lead teams, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, optimize workflows, monitor financial and operational performance, and support high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, specialty clinics, providers, and external partners to improve access to complex therapies and support safe, efficient operations.
