The role is distinguished from Specialty Pharmacist I by broader validated workflow competency, greater independence, training responsibility, and supervision of assigned support staff within the workflow.
The Specialty Pharmacist III
An advanced working pharmacist who independently manages complex, high-risk, ambiguous, and escalated clinical or operational matters. The role is distinguished from Specialty Pharmacist II by advanced judgment, broad cross-workflow proficiency, responsibility for coaching and competency support, and shift- or workflow-level leadership.
