Job summary

PestCo in Houston, TX is seeking a Specialty Pest Control Technician to service residential and commercial customers with effective pest control solutions. This full-time role requires traveling to occasional neighboring cities and states and operating company vehicles and equipment.

Training and growth opportunities are provided. You will perform treatments for bed bugs, cockroaches, termites, and other specialty pests while maintaining a professional appearance and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as necessary for the job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Be willing and able to travel to neighboring cities and states occasionally.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
• Drive trailers, box truck and large vehicles
• Execute treatments for Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, Termites and occasionally, other specialty pests.
