Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Specialty Team Member to assist with purchasing, replenishment, and merchandising of specialty products. You will support promotional programs and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers and Team Members.

You will handle inventory, pricing, and signage, while maintaining a clean and safe back stock area and contributing to store-wide health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail experience of 12+ months preferred.
• Strong math and numerical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchases and replenishes Specialty items through proper buying procedures.
• Ensures orders are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Explains product differences to customers and supports specialty programs.
• Achieves and exceeds margin and sales targets.
• Creates effective merchandising displays and signage.
• Participates in national, regional and store promotional programs.
• Provides excellent customer service and assists customers promptly.
