Job summary

United Veterinary Care is seeking an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician to provide exceptional nursing care and technical support for hospitalized patients within the Internal Medicine service. You will collaborate with veterinarians and other departments to deliver high-quality specialty care, assist with diagnostic procedures, anesthesia, client communication, and patient treatment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, RVT preferred, and at least two years of veterinary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred.
• Minimum two years of veterinary technician experience; specialty experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to hospitalized patients.
• Monitor patients, administer meds, IV catheters, feeding tubes as prescribed.
• Assist with anesthesia, diagnostic procedures, and client communication.
