Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Specialty Supply Chain Coordinator to manage supplies and equipment in a specialty department, build relationships with staff and vendors, and ensure accurate transactions. The role focuses on stock control, recalls, returns, and par levels to support safe, efficient patient care.

The position requires 1–3 years of specialty healthcare experience, strong knowledge of procedures, and the ability to work independently in an ERP-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of specialty area healthcare experience.
• Associate's degree highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of products and equipment used in the specialty area.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with vendors and clinicians.
• Demonstrates ability to use an ERP system.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Understanding of clinical procedure processes.

Responsibilities

• Manages supplies and materials in the assigned specialty department or area.
• Maintains relationships with clinical and non-clinical customers to meet needs and stay updated on changes.
• Establishes PAR levels, rotates stock (FIFO), updates shelf labels, and removes expired items.
• Participates in performance improvement and lean supply chain initiatives.
• Initiates supply returns and coordinates recalls as needed.
• Coordinates with procurement to resolve issues and source products and training.
• Ensures tissue tracking records are maintained per policy.
