Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well-stocked for appealing display.
• Checks product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Monitors spoilage and waste to minimize department costs.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps areas full and appealing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Accesses market information and communicates to customers.
• Ensures logs for temperature, sanitation and sweep are completed.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storing, rotating and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; verifies signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
