Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Team Member to support the Specialty department, prep and stock products, maintain displays, and assist customers with knowledgeable service.

In this role you will follow SOPs, participate in sampling programs, ensure safety and sanitation, and help meet regional Specialty goals while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Ability to sell proactively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked.
• Checks product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Monitors spoilage and waste to minimize department expenses.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas clean and appealing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, and merchandising.
