Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Frisco, CO is seeking entry-level Team Members to support the Specialty floor from receiving to displays and service. You will engage customers, maintain stock, and uphold health, safety, and quality standards while contributing to regional programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Surprises and delights customers with consistent and delicious food.
• Engages in positive and proactive selling.
• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked.
• Checks product to ensure it meets WFM quality standards.
• Monitors spoilage and supply waste to minimize impact on department expenses.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Accesses information about market conditions and communicates to customers.
• Ensures temperature, sanitation and sweep logs are completed.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows procedures including health and safety regulations.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; equipment upkeep per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
