Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support the Specialty department. You will help receive and prepare products, maintain the floor displays, and assist customers with friendly, efficient service.

This role requires standing, lifting, and flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience is not required, and the wage range is posted to reflect entry-level compensation.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with store standards and product knowledge is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Surprise and delight customers with consistent and high-quality food.
• Engage in positive selling and maintain fresh displays.
• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked, and well-organized.
• Ensure product quality meets standards and monitor spoilage.
• Assist with sampling areas and maintain back stock.
• Communicate market information to customers and maintain logs.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Provide courteous, prompt service and handle phones professionally.
• Follow procedures related to safety, sanitation, and pricing.
