On Site Companies is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician in Minnesota who thrives in an outdoor setting and serves as a Brand Ambassador for our team. You will handle the timely pickup, delivery, and setup of climate control equipment, fencing, and water delivery services.

The role emphasizes safety, on-site service quality, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime and on-call rotations. A valid driver’s license and basic mechanical skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of light maintenance background with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; able to diagnose basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Safety & quality: Adhere to PPE and safety standards at customer sites.
• Transportation: Load, transport, and offload equipment; keep truck clean and professional.
• Technical setup: Test and stage climate control units per specifications.
• Site management: Install fencing lines and inspect materials for damage.
• Maintenance: Perform basic repairs on plumbing and carpentry as needed.

Are you a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor environment? We are looking for a reliable and versatile Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you aren’t just a driver or a technician—you are a Brand Ambassador. You will be the face of our company, ensuring our partners receive high-quality service and reliable equipment setup.

This role is responsible for the timely pickup, delivery, and basic setup of temporary climate control equipment, temporary fencing, and water delivery services. This is a dynamic position perfect for someone with a "can-do" attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.

• Customer Excellence: Represent the brand professionally while managing work orders and on-site service.
• Sanitation & Logistics: Execute daily routes, including the pickup, delivery, and sanitation of equipment.
• Climate Control: Assist in the installation and removal of temporary heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Fencing: Install and remove temporary fencing with precision and stability.
• Water Services: Deliver and fill water tanks safely and efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Safety & Quality: Adhere to high safety standards and PPE requirements while executing technical maintenance at customer sites.
• Transportation: Safely load, transport, and offload equipment. Maintain a clean truck and professional appearance while communicating clearly with dispatch.
• Technical Setup: Test and stage climate control units for deployment; install systems according to job specifications.
• Site Management: Install fencing lines with precision; inspect materials for damage and resolve on-site layout issues with customers.
• Maintenance: Perform basic repairs on plumbing (water heaters, winterizing trailers) and carpentry (molding/flooring) as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to hire.
• Experience: 1+ years of light maintenance background and a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with hand/power tools; ability to diagnose/repair basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Driving Ability: Confident in navigating using maps/routing directions and capable of pulling a trailer both forward and backward.
• Availability: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 150 lbs occasionally.
• Climb in and out of large trucks (Ford 550 size) 30–60 times per day.
• Walk on uneven terrain (gravel, snow, construction sites).
• Work in tight areas within trailers and climb stairs/ladders frequently.
