Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries' Windows division in Medford, Wisconsin, is seeking qualified Specialty Fabricators to join our growing team. You will operate moulders, perform painting tasks, and help maintain powder coating equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Recent work history in woodworking or fabrication with verifiable references.
• Familiarity with wood species and aluminum profiles.
• Ability to read tape measure and caliper and interpret drawings.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate moulders and other machines for production.
• Perform painting duties safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain powder coating equipment as appropriate.
• Maintain records and ensure quality control.
• Test and maintain chemical levels for pretreatment.
• Inventory nozzles and parts.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Currently, our Windows division in Medford, Wisconsin, a growing, major window and door manufacturer with manufacturing facilities located in Alabama, California, and Wisconsin, is seeking qualified Specialty Fabricators to work collaboratively with our division.

About the Position

• Setup and operate moulders and other machines as required for production
• Perform painting duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Clean and maintain powder coating equipment as appropriate
• Maintain proper recordkeeping and quality control
• Test and maintain proper chemical levels for pretreatment
• Inventory nozzles and all parts
• Maintain a safe and clean work area

Qualifications

• We look for applicants with recent, related work history and verifiable references
• Familiarity with various species of wood and aluminum profiles
• Ability to read tape measure and caliper as well as drawings to understand where coverage is required
• All applicants must be at least age 18
