Job description

Position Title: Specialty Experience Designer

Position Location: Remote

Position Duration: 6 months

Industry background:

Responsibilities
  1. Design low- and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UI.
  2. Create aesthetically pleasing, accessible, and responsive interfaces following brand guidelines.
  3. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other design teams to align design solutions with business goals.
  4. Participate in and analyze usability tests to validate design decisions and iterate accordingly.
  5. Ensure designs meet financial industry regulations and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA).
  6. Support the transformation of tasks into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs throughout the experience lifecycle.
  7. Identify customer and business needs through research and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  8. Execute visual, information, interaction, and service design elements that meet business and customer needs.
  9. Communicate design concepts through user journeys, storyboards, prototypes, and wireframes.
  10. Assess usability of products and suggest improvements.
  11. Conduct research studies and present findings to inform customer experience enhancements.
Requirements
  1. 2-4 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably within fintech, but open to diverse backgrounds.
  2. Strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web app designs emphasizing usability and visual appeal.
  3. Proficiency in Figma for designing and prototyping.
  4. Experience with design systems and contributing to their development.
  5. Knowledge of interaction design principles, typography, and accessibility standards.
  6. Proven experience developing applications within the Pega Platform, with knowledge of Pega's Constellation UI framework, UI-Kit components, and custom UI policies.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present design concepts to stakeholders.
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility standards.
